Communitas Dance is an organisation established to promote inclusivity, community building and creative expression through dance. It draws together forward-thinking artists from a wide range of fields to create thought-provoking and innovative work. 

 

Communitas Dance is led by choreographer, Anna Marie Des Clayes.​

Mission statement:

"I believe that dance can make a positive and transformative impact on an artistic, creative, educational and physical level, nurturing the development of individuals and communities. Dance is a medium that can communicate powerful and meaningful concepts, that may otherwise remain unexpressed. I am an artist who is dedicated to enabling access to dance for all people, regardless of age, ability or background, and I wish to support the empowerment of people through creativity."
